i recently stayed at dolphin rooms, and it exceeded my expectations during a relaxing spa holiday. the rooms were immaculate and provided all the modern comforts I appreciated from my previous stay in cleethorpes. the friendly staff and delicious breakfast truly made it an enjoyable experience.

Perfect escape for a couple

We celebrated our anniversary here, the staff greeted us with a bottle of Prosecco in our room and rose petals on the bed, such a nice touch. The breakfast was also lovely, freshly cooked and just what we needed to start the day.

It wasn’t cheap, but considering the charming details and comfort, it was acceptable.

we had a delightful stay at the dovedale hotel, which is actually where we were booked despite the dolphin rooms confusion. the bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked, and just what you need to kickstart your day. we loved the little touches, like having an iron and hairdryer available in our room as we attended a wedding nearby.

I found the room to be a fantastic value. The breakfast spread was simply delightful with plenty of options. I loved unwinding at the cozy garden area and taking a quick stroll to the beach. Just be aware that the room security could use some improvement, but overall, it didn’t ruin my experience. 😊

Cozy room, friendly staff, with a great location just a minute from the beach and a delightful breakfast that included a wonderfully fluffy omelette.

We had a spacious twin room with a modern bathroom. The TV had all the Sky channels which was a nice touch!

The room felt cramped and stuffy, with poor air circulation. It had noticeable dust, and the bathroom could use an update. Plus, the bed wasn’t great, with some rips in the sheets. A bit of a hassle cleaning up when it should've been done already, but at least there was Sky TV to keep us entertained.

Not what we expected

Wow, talk about a letdown! The room was cramped and looked nothing like the pics we saw. Plus, the shower was like a leaky faucet and the view? Just a gross alley! We had a decent breakfast, but with all the chaos around, some more seating would be nice. Seriously, the toilet seat was stained and did I mention the noise at 4am? Ugh.

the dolphin rooms were really tidy and had everything we needed. breakfast was nice and freshly cooked, loved it! the staff were super friendly and helpful, made our stay even better. the location was fab, just a short walk to the beach. the room was really comfy, we slept like babies.

the only bummer was the parking situation, it got tricky sometimes. also, the room we got had some noisy steps outside that made it hard to sleep in a bit.

Cozy but cramped stay!

We stayed here for a couple of nights and found the location nice. The room was clean and had a comfy bathroom, but felt squeezed with a double bed and bunk beds. Breakfast was good and served in a pleasant bar area, though the wait time could be better. The drain smell in the bathroom wasn’t great.

This place suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and helpful staff. I remember how they arranged a taxi for me during my first stay. I always look forward to coming back for a city break.
